Certificates Again

New York City has imposed a new certificate of insurance requirement on insurance agents (or insurance companies) that will significantly increase errors & omissions (E&O) exposure.  For each insured doing sidewalk and roadway construction for the City, the City is requiring that insurance agents warrant that each insured’s insurance coverage meets City requirements.  (See here and here, and here for a prior post on insurance certificates.)
