Identity Theft Needed

According to JD Power & Associates, consumers want homeowners insurers to provide identity theft insurance coverage.  According to the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Homeowners Insurance Study (see here and here), more than 40% of homeowners want the coverage from their homeowners insurer.

Since the study does not define identity theft coverage, it is unclear whether the coverage desired is for the cost to repair credit damage, as is normal (see here) or to actually cover loss incurred from identity theft.

As someone who sees this problem everyday firsthand, we need more identity theft insurance than a lot of the other problems we try to solve everyday. Kudos!
